Tour de Cypress doubles participation totals on rides
Riders from various cities and towns around Texas were top finishers in the three long divisions of the 2011 Tour de Cypress bike ride on Saturday, April 16.
A total of 195 riders registered for the event. In each of the divisions individually, 71 riders registered for the 100K ride, 62 started the 45 mile ride, 46 were in the 30 mile ride and 16 began the 10 mile ride.
“This is double the riders we have ever had,” stated Diana Duckworth, co-director of the bike ride. “I am very excited about next year’s ride and am very grateful to the community for all of the support they have given us.”
